Strategic intelligence
Bottleneck Observatory
We look for commercially meaningful situations where something valuable should be moving — and is not.
The premise
Signals before sales.
Camplone Consulting does not begin with a list of companies to contact. We begin with observable events that imply friction: capital raised without a credible execution route, infrastructure announced without a critical input, demand without supply, projects without offtake, technology without market access, rights without a financing structure.
The Observatory turns those signals into structured hypotheses. The objective is not to manufacture leads. It is to identify problems expensive enough to justify serious intervention.
The radar
What we watch.
Capital exists, but the project, mandate, structure or local route is not investable enough to absorb it.
Demand exists, but power, capacity, logistics, facilities, permits or another physical dependency is missing.
A viable transaction lacks the buyer, supplier, operator, distributor, co-producer, offtaker or strategic partner required to move.
Commercial logic exists, but regulation, public policy, procurement, stakeholder alignment or market access is blocking execution.
The pieces exist individually, but nobody owns the sequence, authority or coordination required to turn them into a decision.
From signal to mandate
RADAR → ANALYSE → PUBLISH → APPROACH → MATCH → MANDATE
Radar: detect a meaningful event. Analyse: map the likely friction and decision-makers. Publish: where useful, turn recurring patterns into public intelligence. Approach: contact only the party for whom the observation is relevant. Match: connect missing pieces where there is a credible fit. Mandate: formalise the role before substantive execution.
This is marketing only in the broadest sense. In practice it is origination performed in public and private.
The unsolicited board memo
Demonstrate judgement before asking for attention.
A specific project, market entry, financing, infrastructure or transaction with a visible point of friction.
A concise view of what may actually be constraining movement, clearly identified as an external assessment.
A short list of credible paths worth examining — not a generic capability presentation.
Public observations
No manufactured case studies.
The Observatory will publish selected patterns and observations only when they can be supported by public information and when publication adds something useful. Client matters, private deal flow and unverified hypotheses remain private.
Until the first public observations meet that standard, this page describes the method rather than pretending that a research archive already exists.
See a bottleneck?
Bring us the situation, not the sales pitch.
If something commercially sensible is not moving, tell us what exists, what is blocked and which piece appears to be missing.
